friend, some storytime for ya on how I made a wild decision last week that led to incredible speaking opportunities & visibility for my brand…

As you may know, I’ve been living in Greece since May and loving every bit of the slow Mediterranean lifestyle but last week I bought a flight from Athens to Atlanta to attend a red carpet award show for biz owners called The Reelies (that I was a judge for actually)

I intuitively felt a strong pull to leave Greece and go to Atlanta to do this. I sat with my decision for about a week before I was able to justify the costs and pull the trigger to buy my flight, book my hotel, and arrange everything…

What made me do it?

Simple…

BEING IN THE ROOM!

I wanted to be in the room with other powerful business owners because I wholeheartedly believe in the impact of networking, connecting, and being there in person with other people who propel you (and your biz) forward.

It’s been the biggest cheat code for success in my business!

So I knew that this was a SMART business investment that will 10x my authority, credibility and position me for more exposure and opportunities.

What’s funny is that the week before going to The Reelies Award Show is that I was invited to speak on a panel in Greece (wild right??) on Personal Branding. 

They had reached out to me on IG saying that they loved meeting me at the last networking event that they hosted and have been following me on my IG and loving my content. (Read that again: they met me, the consumed my content, they invited me)

And that was exactly the proof I needed that my decision to go to the US and make this investment was the RIGHT decision…because it has worked for me, as you can see!

Okay, so here’s what happened next because I followed my intuitive nudges…

On the 13th when I landed in the US, I was offered to come in as a speaker on a panel in Atlanta because one of the original speaker’s flight was delayed and they were not gonna make it in time…okay universe WOW

I got to sit on a panel at the ContentxChill event with incredibly powerful women like Natasha from Shinewithnatasha, Jera Bean, and Amber Figlow.

This was possible because…

1. I was there at the right time because I followed my nudges
2. I had built up credibility and authority on the topic through my online personal brand
3. I had built up a strong connections that led to trust that I’m the right person for this panel at that time

I need you to know this:

If you want to be invited to do big things, you need to start doing BIG things first!
You need to make the grand gesture, build your own stage with your personal brand, and get in the right rooms speaking to the people that inspire you…don’t hide behind your screen
