Why I hosted a silent dinner at my retreat?

I did something that felt a little crazy & VERY uncomfortable for me at my first branding retreat in Mexico last month…

✨ I hosted a SILENT DINNER

Now I’ve not heard or seen of a business / brand coach do this at a business retreat so I was questioning it big big time…

That was only our first official full day at the retreat so it felt scary to throw my clients in complete discomfort right away.

AND throw myself into the discomfort of leading it!

Before the retreat had even started, these women had already experienced DISCOMFORT

@balancedles had her phone pickpocketed in CDMX

@libaubuchon had no cell service no a functioning card for pulling cash to pay her cab rides

@shinewithnatasha had her bag delayed that had all the filming gear

I took this as a sign that we all as group needed to understand the message behind the discomfort & lean into the lesson

After all, this is how true EXPANSION happens

Then we ended the day with a deep breathwork & sound healing session on the beach to RELEASE those beliefs & INVITE the future self

There was sooo much that was moving — emotionally, spiritually & mentally — I had to trust that a silent dinner would be where they can ABSORB all that goodness & receive the messages they need for the rest of their journey on this retreat

So I did it. I did it scared. See how

Now my retreats are NOT spiritual retreats. Nor are they JUST business & branding retreats. I would do these expansive experiences a disservice by labeling them as such.
