the decision that changed my life

I was in NYC, dead of winter, unhappy as hell.

I filled up my bathtub to take a warm bath to calm my nerves after a loooong day at the office sitting in front of my computer for over 9 hours.

I prep some tea and return to the bathroom to check the running water.

I put my hand in the bathtub to see if the temperature was okay and what happened was really strange…

I HAD A FULL ON NERVOUS BREAKDOWN!!!

The water was cold!

I started to SOB.

It wasn’t the water.
It was everything that was “wrong” with how I was living at that time.

I was doing work that sucked the life out of me.
I was not channeling my creative energy.
I had no depth in my relationships or community.
I was spending money I didn’t have to feel good.
I was commuting daily on the subway absorbing everyone’s
resentment and sadness because I’m an empath.
I was rushing around always feeling like something was missing.

The joy had left me.
I didn’t recognize who I become.

I decided then…

I WILL DO WHAT BRINGS ME JOY
No matter the cost!

I will prioritize living.
I will prioritize freedom.
I will prioritize connection.

Those values became the compass that guided all my decision making.

This became pivotal for my business because I’m always making decisions that continue to lead me down the path of more living, joy, and freedom.

That’s how I was able to live freely for the last 4 years…

I've been traveling the world working wherever I want.

I've been designing my own weekly schedule & hours working wherever I feel best!

I've been earning a living while living doing what I love doing.

I was able to pay my student loans in full.

I pay my credit card balance every month in full.

I take fun trips every month and living in Europe and Mexico.

I have a substantial amount of savings from an emergency fund to a Roth IRA and investment account.

It wasn’t because I worked hard to do so.
It was because I decided on what’s important to me and prioritized it!
