I admit, I have privilege

but let me be real

friend, I admit, I have a lot of privilege in my life...

But I was born without it.

Egyptian. Middle Eastern. Immigrant. Petite. Woman.

I wanted to show the world that it can't determine my path for me (despite how unfair this world is). I took my lack of privilege & conditioning & put my middle finger up by being as wild as 1 can be.

Choosing to live out my desires, not my fears.

They said grey hair is ugly,

so I made it beautiful (on me)

They said not having a homebase means you can't have a supportive loving partnership.

I kept choosing my lifestyle over fear, trusting that I'll never have to compromise my desires for a love that feels expansive.

They said that making more money means you have to lock in & burn out, I showed them that I get to enJOY how I bring in more abundance...

doing work that lights me the F up!

My deepest desire is for more of us to see & know that our worth is not in how we perseve our beauty, what we produce, and the men/relationships that we keep...

This is why I show up relentlessly on here sharing REAL stories & doing this work, as a woman who was culturally conditioned to believe that all of these things were necessary to be loved & accepted.
